Joining the IPS Parent Council is one of the easiest ways to stay informed, connect with other IPS families, and advocate for the resources and opportunities every child deserves.

By joining the Council, you ensure our vibrant school community has the power to advocate for students and families within our district and at the state level.  Your membership gives us the numbers we need to be a credible voice for public education in Indianapolis.

Who Can Join? YOU!

Parent & Caregiver Members
Any parent or caregiver of a currently enrolled IPS student who supports the mission and vision of the IPS Parent Council can join as a Voting Member.

Community & Alumni Members
IPS alumni, community members, and other supporters who support the mission and vision of the IPS Parent Council can join as Non-Voting Members. 

All members receive Council communications, may attend meetings, participate in Council activities, and contribute to the work of the IPS Parent Council. 

Membership follows the school year, from July 1 through June 30, and must be renewed each year.
